From the phone call to the paid invoice

Every rental makes the same seven stops. BinRoster keeps track of where each one is, so the whiteboard doesn't have to.

  1. Book

    Customers book and pay on your website, or you take the order over the phone. Prices come from your own rate sheet.

  2. Dispatch

    Assign the drop to a driver and truck. The board warns you before a can is promised twice.

  3. Drop

    The driver gets the stop on their phone, takes a placement photo and marks it delivered, even with no signal.

  4. Swap

    Swaps, dump-and-returns and pickups can be requested by the customer or booked by the office.

  5. Dump

    Record the scale ticket with weight and tipping fee. Overweight charges are worked out for you.

  6. Bill

    Extra days, overweight and late fees land on the invoice without anyone retyping them.

  7. Get paid

    Customers pay by card or bank transfer from the invoice email. The money goes to your own Stripe account.

Questions operators ask

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

No. Create an account and you get 30 days with every feature. Add a payment method in Settings when you decide to keep it.

Can my drivers use it without cell service?

Yes. The driver app keeps the day's stops on the phone, records deliveries, photos and scale tickets with no signal, and sends them to the office once the phone is back in range.

How do I move over from spreadsheets or other software?

Settings has an import for customers, job sites, containers, open rentals and balances from CSV files, which every spreadsheet and most software can export. You see a reconciliation report before anything goes live, and we'll help with the move at no charge.

Does it work with QuickBooks?

Yes, QuickBooks Online. Customers, invoices, payments and credits go across, and payments recorded in QuickBooks come back. Xero isn't supported yet.

How do customer payments work?

You connect your own Stripe account. Customers pay by card or bank transfer, the money goes to your bank on Stripe's schedule, and BinRoster takes no cut.

Who owns my data?

You do. You can export every record as a CSV file at any time, including after you cancel. Our privacy policy explains what we store and why.

What do I need to run it?

The office works in any up-to-date web browser on a computer or tablet. Drivers use the BinRoster app on Android or iPhone.
